Can I just say how much I enjoy reading all of your posts and how thankful I am that we are doing this together and keeping eachother motivated! Thank you all for going on this journey with me!!
So today was a tough one cause I am sick :( I came down with a cold a few days ago and then last night my throat began to hurt and today it has been killing me. Needless to say I didnt really feel like eating much since it hurts to swallow so I am under again. But hopefully I will start to feel better and then I will be eating normally. And perhaps this has helped curb something :)
Before I go on I need to ask for some help and some tips... This weekend we are making a quick trip to Salt Lake for a Vienna Ball. I am so exctied! It is such a fun tradition! My parents have been going to this Ball for the last 10 years and we used to go with them, until we moved away. Anyhow, we all dress up in formals and the men wear tuxedos, we have a nice meal and then dance the night away while the Salt Lake Symphony performes. Here is my question, HELP me stay on this diet while I am traveling and eating out and all of that jazz! I plan on bringing a Skinny Cow snack bag with me to the Ball so that when everyone is having dessert I can have something too. The menu at the Ball is already planned so I can't really work out a low calorie option. Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Breakfast - 290
Oatmeal - 1 cup prepared = 150
Milk - 1% = 110
Brown Sugar - 30
Lunch - 286
Jasmine Steamed Rice - 3/4 Cup prepared - 160
Basil Pesto Tilapia - 120
Dinner - 250
Little Ceasars Pizza -
Snacks - 138
Fuji Freeze Dried Apples - 1 Bag = 28
Orange Juice - 1 cup = 110
Total Calories Consumed - 964
Calories Burned - 0 But I think I should get props for coughing and swallowing even when it hurt (I really think that being sick should burn lots of calories)
Well hopefully my throat will ease up a bit, Im drinking Sleepy Time Herbal Tea to help soothe it and I hope that I will be able to sleep. Wish me luck! Until Tomorrow ... Happy Dieting!
