Welcome Ladies. . .


Welcome to the Excess Baggage Dropper!!  Katie and I (Shelley) have done this before with fabulous results.  It's a great way to keep yourself honest, get ideas from others who are doing well, and be inspired as well as inspiring!  Blog each day to let your fellow Baggage Droppers know what you've consumed (we are a calorie counting lot) and let us know if you have a great idea or something tasty that's easy on the calorie budget!

I myself have confessed before (there was a sugar cookie episode that still makes me embarrassed) but because I was honest, I was able to make it up in exercise instead of pretending it hadn't happened.  We're here to give each other ideas and to cheer each other on!  

I'm sure Kaite has already mentioned it, but a calorie counting app is essential.  Kaite likes MyFitnessPal and I'm a big LoseIt fan.  Whatever you use, be honest.  It's the only way!  The first few days, you might feel a little hungry or grumpy, but once your stomach adjusts, you'll be cruising!! It also helps to see your clothes fit better and your face look like the person you were several children ago!
