So, I've been fighting a head cold for the last three days. I thought I was doing SO good at not getting sick! ;) But, of course, Miss Elinor decided to pick up something from nursery and then share it with me. *sigh*
Because of this, I haven't posted on the blog but I have a few of the pics and calories counted so here we go on a MEGA BLOG POST-
Day 4-
I love the days that I know I'm going to be going to Zumba because I know I can eat a little more. :) I was SO tempted to eat a third chicken turnover but I had Mike put away all of the leftovers while I gave Norrie a bath so that it was out of sight/out of mind when I came back into the kitchen. I know that sounds like hiding from the issue and you're absolutely right-it is! But I know myself too well when it comes to mindlessly eating. If it's in my face, tempting me, you can be sure I will eat it without a second thought...until AFTER I've eaten it and then that's all I can think about!
Day 5-
I know it doesn't look like much, but this was actually a really filling day. I think it's because I was beginning to feel sick and that never bodes well with my appetite.
Day 6-
No pics. Hardly any food. This is my first real sick day since June 2015. It knocked me for a loop! I didn't do much but sleep and feel like I was going to die. Dramatic!!
Day 7-
Again, no pics. Again, hardly any food. I made a decision to not care what I ate yesterday (Sunday) because I knew it wouldn't get anywhere near the calorie limit. I drank a lot of tea and had some toast. And the main thing I ate yesterday was a piece of chocolate cake that Mike and Norrie made for Valentine's Day. Norrie presented it to me saying, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and who can resist that?! Of course I HAD to eat the cake. She made me with her cuteness!
I'm feeling much better today. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with the eating well!
WEEK TWO HERE WE COME!! Good luck, ladies!
Great mega-post! So glad you're feeling better- everything is harder when you're sick.
